After three years of bi-weekly meetings, changing plans and hard work, Trader Joe’s finally opened on March 31, 2022, in the new Lower Allen Commons of Camp Hill. Larry Kostelac and Art Campbell of Campbell Commercial Real Estate, Inc. secured the lease for the first Trader Joe’s location in south central Pennsylvania. The ribbon cutting event began at 7:55 am with some shoppers lining up at 4:15 am. While waiting in line, many curious faces were peeking in the windows of the new storefronts of Sport Clips Haircuts, Apricot Lane Boutique and The Good Feet Store. The Good Feet Store has already opened (M-F 10-6, Sat. 10-5 & Sun. 10-4). Sport Clips and Apricot Lane Boutique plan to open in April and July respectively. Construction of the new SpringHill Suites by Marriott hotel is also hard to miss, with an anticipated opening in August of this year. There are two additional pad sites still to be developed and Campbell Commercial Real Estate, Inc. is handling these on behalf of the ownership.
