“Campbell said, “I wouldn’t want to be building a new building right now, but the demand for office space will never disappear. Companies can’t build a culture when their entire workforce works from home, and they need to build a culture.”
He predicts companies will increase the square footage they allocate per person in an office environment due to the pandemic. Prior to the shutdown, he was seeing companies allocate between 100 and 150 square feet per employee, and he thinks that will increase.”
