CAMPBELL Commercial Real Estate, Inc. sells Capital City Commons

Real Estate News

Lower Allen Township Development Authority has taken title to the 14-acre Capital City Commons. Previously anchored by the now vacant 140,000 SF BonTon and 25,000 SF Borders Books, remaining businesses include Bonefish Grill, Texas Roadhouse, and Burger King.

The Development Authority intends to demolish the vacant structures and improve the access and utility infrastructure with the ultimate goal of assisting a private developer or joint venture partner with new development and eventual ownership.

The property is centrally located with easy access to all major Harrisburg area highways and connectors. The Capital City Mall, directly across Route 15 from the property has seen major improvements and redevelopment including new stores for Dave & Busters, PA Fine Wine & Spirits, Dicks Sporting Goods and Field & Stream, with Outback Steakhouse, and Primanti Brothers restaurants set to open in the coming months.

Art Campbell, Jessica Gasper & Larry Kostelac of Campbell Commercial Real Estate, Inc. handled the sale of the property to the Development Authority and are marketing hotel and retail lots for sale, lease, or build-to-suit.
