2009 News: Campbell Commercial Real Estate, Inc. announced that Motel Sleepers, Inc. of Little Rock, Arkansas has purchased a 2.11 acre site at Arthur Avenue in Lower Allen Township from United Methodist Home for Children, Inc.
Motel Sleepers, Inc. will immediately begin construction of a 70 room hotel and restaurant. Construction began September 4th, 2009 and is projected to be complete within 6 months. The site will include the 70 room hotel, which will be utilized by private industry only, and also a 24/7 Diner Style Restaurant that will be open to the public. The restaurant will feature home style cooking with daily specials that are certain to appeal to the appetites of every age, including fares for both the health food nut and those desiring some of grandma's good ol' comfort food.
