The Department of Pennsylvania Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States recently moved the State Headquarters to 4002 Fenton Avenue in Harrisburg and has sold their previous headquarter at 201 N. Front Street in Harrisburg to the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency (PHFA).

20 Erford Rd., the former Headquarters of The Pennsylvania Medical Society, was owned by 20 Erford Road Associates, whose principals had purchased and renovated the building for use as a multi-tenanted office building. Cumberland Technology Park to get Suite Hotel - 05/10/2007

2007 News:

Insite Develoment LLC has purchased 2.4 commercial acres in Cumberland Technology Park from Mt. Zion Associates, LP. The site at the entrance to the business park will be developed with a 120-room suite hotel. Two commercial lots of 1.2 and 6.4 acres remain for development at the Park’s entrance.

Art and Adam Campbell of Campbell Commercial Real Estate, Inc. represented the parties in the transaction. Mt. Zion and Campbell Commercial are also working with several other users for construction of build-to-suit offices and are finalizing a design for an office condominium.

The condominium will allow individual office users to buy units from 2,500 to 45,000 square feet. Cumberland Technology Park, located at the Wertzville Road Exit off Interstate 81 in Cumberland County, is home to companies including IBM, Patriot News, Pinnacle Health Systems, Delta Development and Hoover Rehabilitation. The hotel is anticipated to begin construction this summer with an opening projected in the first quarter of 2008.
