10,000 Friends of Pennsylvania has leased 1,700 square feet of office space at 208 North Third Street, Harrisburg, better knows as the Mary Sacks Building.
10,000 Friends of Pennsylvania is a statewide alliance of organizations and individuals committed to land use policies and actions that will strengthen Pennsylvania’s divers urban, suburban, and rural communities and reduce sprawl. The organization encourages growth and development that supports the social and economic viability of Pennsylvania’s cities and towns, protects environmental quality, conserves fiscal resources and preserves Pennsylvania’s rural and heritage resources. Their principles have been endorsed by more than 250 organizations representing 310,000 Pennsylvanians.
